One of my goals for 2023 was to do more creative photoshoots. I love the process of coming up with a vision and seeing it come to life. I knew there was no better place to start taking some fun Valentine’s Day photos!

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. Not because I’m a big fan of the cards or chocolate (although I do love chocolate). I just really love the aesthetic of Valentine’s Day. Any other fans out there of the Valentine’s Day aesthetic? You know what I’m talking about. The red, the pink, the hearts, roses…it’s the perfect place to start for a fun and creative photoshoot!

When I started coming up with a vision in my head, I knew Claire would be the perfect model. Claire is an artist and also has a great sense of style – I knew she’d get what I was going for! I wanted to mix the red and pink of Valentine’s Day with some kind of edge. Downtown Corpus was a given for the location. Upon first look you may not think of Downtown as the ideal location – but I think you just have to know where to look!

We met up on the Saturday before Valentine’s Day and had so much fun creating some art! Claire wore the perfect outfit: gold jewelry, a red shirt, and Doc Martens Chelsea Boots. We played around with some baby’s breath, roses, and my favorite pink heart shaped sunglasses.

I am literally OBSESSED with how these fun Valentine’s Day photos came out! I definitely plan on doing more fun and creative shoots this year because it was so much fun! I’m already scheming for the rest of the year.
